UTEP's I3 Broadening Participation in STEM through Cyberinfrastructure, Communication, and Connection project is funded through NSF’s Innovation through Institutional Integration program. The project aims to foster interdisciplinary research collaborations on campus that promote student success, integrate research and education, and result in effective education for a diverse student body, in particular in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) areas.

The University of Texas at El Paso supports the cultivation of ideas, research teams, and proposal development at UTEP. Through the Interdisciplinary Network Manager, the Office of Research and Sponsored Projects has a particular interest in enhancing the collaborative research environment on the UTEP campus and supporting the effectiveness of interdisciplinary teams. The UTEP Interdisciplinary Research (IDR) website houses campus resources for those interested in or already engaged in interdisciplinary activities.

We invite you get connected and get engaged whether it be through exploring the people and communities on Expertise Connector, applying for research funds, or participating in our events.
